The Zebra wants to make a trade… Here’s the deal. Bring us a zebra and we’ll give you a free mouse (pad) in exchange. What kind of zebra? Well, how about something with a zebra pattern on it? Or maybe a picture of a zebra, or a stuffed toy zebra? Use your imagination. Just drop off your zebra at our new studio location at 292 Santa Fe Avenue in Alamosa (across from the Rio Grande Inn) during our normal business hours of 8 am to 5 pm Monday through Friday (we take a lunch from noon to 1) and we’ll give you a cool mouse pad. Welcome, one and all, sports fans!! The Zebra is now broadcasting all Denver Nuggets games along with the Avalanche!!! We have always brought all the action from the ice right to your stereo, so we are pleased to bring you some action from on the court as well. For complete game schedule (Nuggets AND Avalanche) just click on our calendar at the top of the page. You might notice that some games overlap, in cases like those we are usually going to broadcast the first game listed in it’s entirety, then join the next game.

Hello Zebra listeners!!! As we look into the future for the Zebra we see great things transpiring for the year 2012, however, we can not forget the great year we had in 2011. We want to graciously Thank each and every one of you for listening, and showing your support for Zebra Radio. Without all of you tuning in we would not have the opportunity to serve our community, and to bring you great Hot Hits! 2012 will be a great year here at the Zebra. We are looking at getting great new giveaways and bringing you more local, and live remotes, in addition to our already wonderful format. end, Bobby Shew, will perform in concert with the Adams State College Big Band at 7:30 p.m. Friday, December 2 in Richardson Hall Auditorium. The concert is part of the Jazz Festival which continues all day Saturday, December 3, ending with a concert with PROJECT Trio that evening at 7:30 p.m. in Leon Memorial Hall.

High School’s Maroon Pride is having a tailgate party in the parking lot of Al Bennett Field before the homecoming game this Friday. Hot dogs, chips, and drinks will be provided from 2:00pm to 3:15pm right before kick-off at 3:30. You can also enter to win an autographed football signed by the 2011-2012 Alamosa High School football players. The cost is only $1.00 per raffle ticket and all the proceeds go to Maroon Pride to help ALL athletic activities at Alamosa High School. Come out and support The Mean Moose as they take on the Salida Spartans!!
